So, kind of a minor thing but major to me. But I finally got to be able to reaccess my old blog. For the most part this was nothing too important, got to refollow some people I hadn’t managed to stumble upon yet. I think the biggest thing is how… empty it was in so many ways. So many people I followed had been gone for at least a year, many more than that. A lot of spiritual/witchcraft/magic blogs just vanished into thin air. I don’t really post much about those sides of my life, nor do I get a lot in my radar that directly is about that. But… I want to rebuild things. The lack of community was something I was aware of, but I had kind of waved it off. I don’t know what I’m going to do to try and contribute, maybe I can at least focus enough to do some of those 30 day challenges or the like again.

If anyone comes across this, no matter how old this post may be, I’d like to try to work with people to keep this going, so if you have any ideas or the like I’m open for hearing it. :)

I feel like a lot of people tend to forget that the antivax movement is the result of ableism and a hatred of autistic people especially autistic children. It’s not based off of a “trend” it’s core reason for being a “thing” is because of ableism, so like…yeah make fun of antivaxers but can we please remember that they are always ableist pieces of garbage that would rather their child die slowly and painfully from a preventable disease than live and be autistic.

Ok, so there are a number of reasons why your magic might not seem to be working, too many to list here in fact. So, my suggestion is thus:

1. Do divination to find out why a certain spell hasn’t worked. If the divination explains, take the advice and do what it suggests, and see if it helps. If the divination itself is garbage though, you might have a bigger problem.

2. If even your divinations aren’t working right, you’re probably not aligned with the forces out in the objective reality which fuel your magic. Recently I had a problem with that, and one of my Threefold tools had gone inert, which was… terrifying. I had to go “out and about” to seek some guidance. Sometimes it’s as simple as going out to that rock by the river you always used to love as a kid, or playing that video game that seemed to kindle your powers, or reading that book that you first learned from. Reconnect.

This is actually the subject of my Six Lights of Initiation in my book, Pack of Cards.

3. If your magic has never been better than 50% effective, then you need training. That training MAY be effective doing it alone, or you may need to find a teacher who knows not only what they’re doing but how to produce results in others. Magic is a profession, after all.

One way or another, the first lesson is to be able to observe reality for what it is, not for what we hope or want to believe. If you’re honestly no great shakes at spellcasting, time to train up!

4. If your magic used to be highly effective, and right now it’s garbage, and you don’t seem to be able to reconnect, you may wish to get some help uncrossing or unbinding yourself. Seek out those who specialize in curse-breaking or unbinding, and people who have an overall good reputation. Many of them do not charge money for their work, but it’s always polite to give a gift of thanks anyway. They will also suggest doing divination in many cases, but not all. If they do, that may be where they charge money. Use your noodle, and if the person is charging hundreds of dollars, they’re not the right person. Likewise, if they’re charging a pittance, and they seem stubborn but not necessarily competent, pass along.

Does nobody care that he is literally around 20 pounds underweight for his height and age? His bmi is approximately 13-14? That’s severely underweight?
And this seems to be affecting him developmentally? He seems to be behind when it comes to motor and social skills judging by his interviews? Somebody actually needs to call CPS for this kid???
